A. Junaid is Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the SupplySide Group, a privately-held group of companies representing a diverse array of industries linked through common priorities in full-service supply chain solutions and sustainability. The breadth and success of the SupplySide Group are illustrative of Junaid’s combined expertise in global manufactur- ing, supply chain, real estate, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) deal flow.

Junaid is a sought-after expert transforming fragmented markets into sustainable growth engines through innovative techniques and technology infusion. Much of his work has focused on redefining traditional supply chains to enable new relationships between large retailers and domestic and international suppliers (Asia, Dubai & Africa). Junaid is a go-to expert collaborating with private equity to transform fragmented businesses into blended acquisition targets with national presence and optimized value.

Junaid has fueled the growth of SupplySide Group into a global business that serves hundreds of customers and companies including, decades-long relationships with Fortune 500 notables such as Amazon, Target, UPS, Home Depot, and Lowe’s. SupplySide Group’s impact is especially remarkable within logistics management and packaging services.

Junaid’s civic engagement is an equally elemental focus in his work with extensive work in local and international philanthropies and politics. The Junaid Family Foundation (JFF) was formally established in 2021 to define a broader and more enduring platform from which Junaid can extend his philanthropic footprint. He serves on numerous corporate and civic boards with both local and international focus with priority towards programs and foundations that support medical research, economic growth, and empowerment of youth and women through expanded access to education and health opportunities.

A few examples of Junaid’s philanthropic work include 2024 co-chair of the PanAm Masters Games in Cleveland (the largest, international, amateur, multi-sport event outside of the Olympics), a co-collaboration between JFF, Kirk Humanitarian Foundation, and the Government of Pakistan supporting the implementation of the world’s largest multi-micronutrient supplementation (MMS) program which will advance standard antenatal care for pregnant women in Pakistan, and the support of groundbreaking research including gender equity studies in APAC with the RAND Foundation and pediatric amblyopia treatment compliance at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He is also deeply involved in advancing educational opportunities for girls and young women in rural Pakistan through both the building of new schools (The Citizen Foundation) and expanded educational programming (Hunar Foundation). Junaid’s philan- thropic work has garnered notice, and he has receveived several acknowledgements, including being honored by Crain’s as a member of the 2020 Notable Immigrant Leaders.

When Junaid is not working on his businesses or philanthropic initiatives, he is walking the greens, speeding around tracks, traveling to new and familiar locales, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
